I am so happy you’ve chosen to visit my website at www.gotdoxies.com—home of the RossClan Dachshunds. Miniature dachshunds have been a part of my life for over 16 years and, from the first one, I were immediately hooked. All of my beautiful dachshunds are part of our family. They are played with all throughout each day and are well socialized by the time they are placed in loving homes.

My goal as a dachshund breeder is to share the joy I have found through my beautiful companions. My puppies are placed with a written guarantee against any hereditary life-threatening genetic defect. Should an owner of one of my puppies be unable to provide for the continuous care of their pet, I will always accept the dog back into my home.

Most of the pictures on the site are of my babies which are not for sale. Please check out the puppy pages for available pets.

My puppies are sold at 8 weeks of age. However, if shipping is required it will be at 10 weeks of age. I prefer to sell puppies to pet homes. Puppies will be AKC (American Kennel Club) Limited Registration, unless prior arrangements have been made for full registration. The puppy is sold strictly as a pet. Limited AKC Registration will NOT allow you to breed or show your puppy in conformation class, but WILL allow them to compete in agility, obedience, and earth dog/hunting trials.

I will occasionally sell to other small breeders that I know personally or that can supply me with adequate references. I do not sell to large breeding kennels because I feel they cannot possibly give each dog the attention they require. I consider these dogs to be my babies! I reserve the right to refuse to sell one of my puppies to someone based solely on gut instinct.

I breed the best quality dachshunds I possibly can. My breeding program is based on health, temperament, and conformation. I am always striving to improve the breeding program.

When you purchase a puppy from me, I will assist you in every aspect of its life. If you are not sure that a dachshund will fit into your family’s lifestyle, I will try to give you my honest assessment of the situation. A dachshund may not be a suitable pet for your family. Please understand that I screen every prospective buyer and try to place every one of my puppies in a “forever home.”

I breed only dachshunds because I love dachshunds. It is truly what I enjoy doing!
