Puppy Purchase Agreement

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Purebred puppy!  With your love, caring and patience, your puppy will be a special part of your family for many wonderful years to come!

 

Puppies are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale only, subject to the terms herein.  It is mutually agreed and understood by the buyer and seller that other than the aforementioned guarantee, the seller makes no warranties, expressed or implied concerning the condition of any puppy sold or its registration.  Puppies are sold as pet quality and may or may not include breeding rights as stated below in the contract terms.  The $200.00 deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE unless the dog becomes sick or dies while in the breeder’s care.    The entire amount for the puppy must be received by 6 weeks, and total amount with shipping costs by 8 weeks unless other arrangements have been made. 

Puppies must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours after purchase at buyer’s expense.  Examination should include a stool check for parasites.  Worms and parasites are very common and can be treated at that time by the veterinarian.  If the buyer’s veterinarian finds cause for return of the puppy for any non-treatable health reason, seller must be informed within seventy-two (72) hours of purchase.  Seller’s veterinarian shall be allowed to examine said puppy.  Provided both seller’s veterinarian and buyer’s veterinarian agree that there is reasonable cause for return of the puppy due to non-treatable health reasons which existed at time of purchase, and further provided that the puppy has been properly cared for while in buyer’s possession, seller has the option within seventy-two (72) hours from time of purchase to refund purchase price or replace the puppy originally purchased.  Seller cannot guarantee final size or conformation. 

*Complete price of puppy and shipping fee must be received before puppy is shipped.

 

We believe in standing behind our little ones throughout their entire lives.  By signing this contract you (the buyer) agree to all of the above and the following…

 

1. You agree to love and nurture your puppy throughout his/her entire life.

2. You agree to meet all health, safety and veterinary requirements involved with responsible dog ownership. 

3. If at any time you find that you can no longer care for or keep the puppy, we should be notified right away and said pup will be returned to us or a suitable home must be agreed upon.  Under no circumstances is this puppy to be relinquished to an animal shelter, pound, puppy mill or other breeder. 

4. If this puppy is being sold as a “pet only,” you will need to sign a  spay/neuter contract for your puppy.  Limited registration will be offered so that no litters can be registered to this pet unless other arrangements have been made.
